Absolutely loved the cozy atmosphere, but the hotel was uncomfortably drafty and I could hear every footstep from the street. I had expected a complimentary upgrade or a special gesture for my stay, but I guess that kind of treatment is only reserved for the regulars. Almost gave a good review, but just couldn't.

It was just a decent option for taking strolls in Vestmannaeyjar with real value for money. The kitchen was well-stocked, making it easy to prepare meals whenever we wanted. Bring a thicker blanket if you tend to get cold at night.

The guesthouse is perfectly located near the harbor.
During my stay, I found the room to be uncomfortably drafty due to the high winds outside. The noise from the street was particularly bothersome, making it hard for me to relax. Also, the small size of the kitchen was inconvenient, especially when multiple guests wanted to cook or eat at the same time.

The kitchen facilities were top-notch, allowing me to prepare my meals easily. My room was spotless, and the shared bathrooms were plentiful, always clean and stocked with fresh towels.
There was occasional noise from the street, which might bother light sleepers.

The location is unbeatable, just steps from fantastic dining and the harbor, making it easy to explore. The room felt cozy, with thoughtful details that added to our comfort, like multiple bathrooms that made it feel spacious and accommodating for families. However, the lack of soundproofing was noticeable. occasional street noise could be disruptive, impacting rest. Also, while there were plenty of towels, I found the kitchen's size was a bit limiting when I wanted to prepare meals with other guests.
